Dr. Hess shares recent updates on proventricular dilatation disease
Share |

Dr. Hess recently had the privilege of attending the 1st International Conference on Avian, Herpetological, and Exotic Mammal Medicine in Germany - one of the most interesting educational experiences she have ever had as a veterinarian. At the conference, one lecture topic discussed that really stood out in was the deadly infection, proventricular dilatation disease (PDD) - a very hotly researched area in bird medicine these days. To hear more about what she learned about PDD, check out her article on Birdchannel.com: http://www.birdchannel.com/bird-news/2013/06/26/proventricular-dilation-disease-laurie-hess.aspx
