Do you bring your bird or exotic pet to the veterinarian for regular annual check-ups? You should! Just as dog and cat owners bring their pets to the vet every year for preventative veterinary care, bird and exotic pet owners should do the same.

At the Veterinary Center for Birds & Exotics, we recommend wellness examinations for birds, ferrets, rabbits, reptiles (including lizards, snakes, turtles and tortoises), rodents (guinea pigs, chinchillas, rats, mice, hamsters, gerbils, degus), sugar gliders, hedgehogs, amphibians, and other exotic pets. We also discuss recommended surgery (such as spaying, neutering, and dental cleaning), show you appropriate grooming techniques (such as nail trims for all exotic pets and wing trims for birds) , and review health requirements for boarding at the Veterinary Center, should you decide to let your bird or exotic pet vacation with us while you are away.
